Alyson Luman is a photographer/videographer for Brand New Day, a creative agency that energizes brands and cultivates lasting relationships through impactful communications and brilliant design. She began honing her skills at a young age when she took charge of the family camera. When she turned 10, Alyson started making movies with her neighborhood friends. She’s had a love affair with the filmmaking process ever since.
Alyson has a knack for creating messages, visually. She honed those skills while a student at California State University, Long Beach. Her creativity and artistry allow her to tell all kinds of stories utilizing the power of images. Anyone need a scripted web series shot? Alyson can do that, and more! Work and fun often go together for her too, as when she shot Snoop Dog DJing at a noodle food festival.
She loves snowboarding! Her dad taught her to ski before he let her cruise down the slopes on that snowboard (Safety first!). These days she can be found ‘shreddin' the gnar’ at Mammoth Mountain when the ‘pow’ is good. When it’s not, she can be seen in Orange County rollerblading at the beach under the warm California sun, or even practicing her skills balancing atop a unicycle. That’s just a few more things she has mastered!
