JASON RAMIREZ

COO | CREATIVE DIRECTOR | PARTNER

Jason Ramirez is creative director and partner for Brand New Day, a creative agency that energizes brands and cultivates lasting relationships through impactful communications and brilliant design. With more than 15 years of experience and a strong foundation in print and digital design, Jason’s passion for marketing is rooted in a variety of disciplines, including digital, mobile, social, video and more. A self-professed country music freak, steel guitar enthusiast, and classic car gearhead, you’re likely to find Jason enjoying the weekend by taking a long bike ride after changing the oil in his car and manicuring his yard – then winding down the evening with a whiskey and Coke.

Jason has held several production and design positions in the healthcare and automotive industries, working within creative teams for organizations including House Ear Institute, Cox Automotive (parent company of Kelley Blue Book and Autotrader), and Verity Health System. While at House Ear, Jason helped the company earn two Marcomm Gold awards for Web/UX Design and recognition as one of the best medical websites. During his time as a senior graphic designer at Cox Automotive, Jason was honored as an Employee of the Year for his leadership and contributions to community service. While at Verity Health Systems, he served as the creative services manager overseeing graphic design and video production for several hospitals and medical centers. Jason also has experience working with a variety of high-profile celebrities, including Jay Leno, Debbie Reynolds and Florence Henderson.

Jason graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Radio, Television and Film. He is an avid automotive and marine enthusiast with a passion for gastroenterological health, previously serving on the leadership board for the Orange County chapter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America. In his spare time, Jason enjoys marathon running, four-wheel drive trucks, country music and World War II history. He also is a complete sucker for lobster and Girl Scout Cookies (but obviously, not eating them together – that would just be gross). He resides in the greater Los Angeles area with his two young children.
